Oman Air Lounge Bangkok: Hummus & Hennessy

The Oman Air Lounge Review Bangkok is part of The Year of the Monkey Trip Report which covers the following places:

Recall 2pac’s lyrics where he boasts about riding on his enemies, drinking Hennessy, and eating hummus. That was my experience at the smartly appointed Oman Air Lounge Bangkok. This Priority Pass accessible lounge offered a nice mezze spread, top-shelf alcohol, and infinite pods of Nespresso. It also had comfortable couches and no crowd. I have wanted to go to Oman and, judging by the lounge, I have found a lounge to take me there.

  1. how was that pasta dish? I admire you for taking pictures of everything 🙂 I flew Lufthansa First for Christmas and i felt too embarrassed to take any pictures during flight or at the First Lounge in Munich
Maybe because i made friends with other first class passengers and they were not taking pictures. I should have taken pictures of caviar tray at least 🙂

    • It was decent. I think you gave me another idea. How about a post on how to build up the courage to take pictures for lounge reviews lol. I used to be self-conscious because normal people don’t walk around taking photos of pasta. I ended up with a lot of blurry photos because I would rush to do it. Now I take my time and invite the awkward stares as a conversation starter.

  2. That looks actually better than their hub lounge in MCT, aside from the food spread which is a lot bigger in Oman. Did you fly them after this or came in with priority pass?

      • Ah got it. Well I had my new year trip with them and it was so so. Lots of smaller and bigger equipment problems and MCT is blacklisted now until the new terminal finally opens. I would recommend you to wait for that as it will make transiting there a lot easier and give Oman Air the chance to catch up to other middle eastern carriers. To me it was the least nice flight experience compared to the M3 for now and I think that I would be hesitating even with their amazing fare sales for now.
