"Why would anyone from Michigan want to visit Columbus?" That's what I thought before I visited this past spring. As the college football season progressed, it became evident that Michigan was on a collision course to face OSU for the Big Ten Championship.

If you're going to the Sheraton Luxor Resort I hope you stay in room 408 which is the best room in the hotel. The club level is the only way to go as the service is absolutely terrible everywhere else. I'm going to go in reverse order and start with the ugly, proceed to the bad, and end up with the good.
PG has the market cornered for airport hotels for Detroit Metro. The Westin is sensational and is connected to the Delta terminal. However, the price can exceed $200 a night or 5000 SPG points + $75. The alternative is to pay around $100 or 2000 SPG points + $35 for the Sheraton.
The Sheraton Saigon is typical of Sheraton hotels worldwide (excluding the pitiful Sheraton Times Square.). It had a plush king size bed, ample space, a great shower, and a decent view of the city. But for $151/night there are much better deals to be had in the city especially if you're packing a carry-on full of points.
