For years, I have been attempting to make blogging more efficient. The more I tried, the more I failed. The closest I came to catching up to my Trip Reports was ‘thanks’ to Covid (see The Lost & Found Year(s): COVID Trip Report). Since then, I have traveled the world many times over, but have published next to nothing. For years, I have also attempted to redesign the backend of my travel blog to make it more efficient. That is still a work in progress.
This week, I set off on my latest trip, appropriately called TPOL’s Tourist Trap Trip. Instead of waiting until I come back to post, I will do publish ‘drafts’ in real time. These drafts will be mostly text as I do not have the literal and figurative bandwidth to edit and upload photos. I recognize that people do not read, but I would rather have written content published than nothing at all.
When I return from my trip and when I have the time and motivation, I will republish the draft with photos, videos, and glitter.
