Another month in the record books. I didn’t post for three weeks in June while TPOL was being redesigned but somehow the numbers came around thanks to my Iceland and Emirates experience. I have to say that I’m thrilled with how the site looks even though there’s still a lot to do. I think it will be like Dubai, constantly under construction (but beautiful nonetheless).
You’ve seen the ads: $99 to Iceland. For that price, you can put me in a Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami Beach chicken filled flight with a crate as my seat. Luckily for us travelers, WOW Air is quite the step up from the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom airplane.
Seated with a full bottle of Dom and two glasses, I carefully popped the cork. I blame the elevation for the mess that I caused which explains this classy photo.
This is a great hotel. I doubt I will stay here again post Club Carlson devaluation but I am glad that I used my 2*1 nights for a memorable, sleep-deprived Icelandic experience.
