It's a Hyatt Place. I've stayed at enough of them at this point to know what I'm getting myself into. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, but the soaps, cleverly named 1-2-3, are nothing special.
Arepas were invented in Venezuela and some argue that they were perfected in Colombia. I'm not going to make that assertion until I visit Margarita Island to find out for myself. I can say that the arepas in Miami whether they be Venezuelan or Colombian restaurants pale in comparison to those in Colombia.
Who wants to see more pics of the inside of an airplane? Nobody. This review has nothing to do with the flying machine I took to Cartagena and more to do with taking advantage of flash sales and getting over the stigma of flying coach. Unlike hoarders, I do not have a stash of points that keep me warm at night.
It's not all about South Beach when it comes to Miami. There are many great areas of Miami including Brickell, the next most livable city after Scottsdale, Arizona. Bored at the Holiday Inn, I opted for a round of golf at the North Sound Golf Club which is next to the hotel. A round of golf can cost well over $150 during the peak season but since it was the off season and since it was after 3PM, I paid the twilight rate of $85 which included club rentals.
