It’s advisable to bungee on an empty stomach. But, after it was done, I was hungry. Originally, we went to Mama Africa for what was supposed to be local food. The menu was standard steak and pasta. I made the smart choice to go to Three Monkeys for beer and pizza instead. And let me tell you, it was some of the best pizza I have ever had. Forget Napoli’s delicious Lombardis, set aside Chicago’s best pizza, Lou Malnati’s, and make way for Three Monkeys’ Arrabiata. The salami, the cheese, and the thin crust were spectacular. The homemade olive oil based chili sauce was a perfect compliment. The only mistake I made was not ordering one for takeaway as I was headed back to my recluse suite in the outskirts of town.
That’s an awfully good looking pizza, but I bet it cost like a million bucks.
$22 for the pizza and the 2 drinks, not bad for America but expensive compared to South Africa.
