There’s no rest for the bloggers. This is especially true if you’re touring the Admirals Clubs at MIA airport. With nowhere to sleep at the Amex Centurion, I went from one Admirals Club to the next in search of a good spot to rest. Both were under construction. One didn’t even have restrooms available.
Since my gate is at D39 and since this one has a shower, I decided to camp out here until my flight. The lounge has that Air China Beijing feel in that it forms a loop above the terminal. It has plenty of places to sit but only one place marginally suitable to sleep. The bar is standard and the breakfast is the typical assortment of bagels and cereal that nobody touches.
I’m curious as to what this lounge will look like post renovation. Today, it’s just another place to lay my head and wait.
c’mon man! you gonna have to start paying me to be your editor! ha
