When I was planning my trip to Italy, it was tough to find points hotels. In Naples and Palermo, I stayed at Accor hotels. In Catania, I was curious to see if there were any Marriotts. A quick search resulted in the following: 
I searched SPG’s site and ended up booking the Four Points Catania. While I could not book the hotel from Marriott’s site, at least I knew that there was an SPG hotel available. This saved me the inconvenience of searching each chain separately, one of TPOL’s Complaints.
