This is getting to be a bit ridiculous and I’m beginning to get a bit nervous. A couple of weeks ago American Airlines canceled my Apartment ticket due to a schedule change. I had until January 2017 to rebook two tickets and miraculously found two. These two were the only ones from now through mid December which is why I changed my travel plans.
As of today, the tickets remain on request. American says nothing can be done until Etihad processes the request. While the flight isn’t until the end of September, I hit the road next Saturday with no ride home as of yet.
What a weird year for points travel it has been. Sometimes these points trips are planned and executed perfectly. Other times I wait, as I have done so many times, on hold.
