Mt. Kilimanjaro? Delta Points? Forget About It

When I first wrote about this imaginary trip, the issue I had was combining my Delta points into one account so I would have enough miles. Months later, Delta finally did and guess what? The 80k flight is still available from SEA to AMS to JRO. At least that’s what Delta’s website says until I tried to book online over and over again. I called Delta in Hong Kong, Delta in Singapore, Delta in Tikrit and ended up with the same apologies from agents that said that the website is not accurate.

I wish I could speak to the Delta CEO and look him straight in the eye and tell him what a cheap, lying, no good, rotten, far flushing, snake licking, dirt eating, inbreed, overstuffed, ignorant, blood sucking, dog kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat assed, bug eyed, stiff legged, spotty lipped, worm headed, sack of monkey shit he is!!! Halleluah!! Holy shit!! Where’s the Tylenol?? Where’s my flight!?

No AMS for me, Thanks Delta! Liars.

  1. This would be 75K AA miles in business via Doha on QR. Flew into JRO earlier this year. Didn’t climb Kilimanjaro, did the safari circuit. Truly a unique place that’s gotta be experienced in person.

      • Not a problem. I really enjoyed QR business even if it was just the 777-200. Great seat, great food and amazing service. I couldn’t find award space to JRO so we paid for a one way there, then flew JRO-KGL on Kenya air and did a mountain gorilla trek. Add that one to the list too. We returned to DOH from KGL on QR

        • Oh gorilla trek? Noted. I flew QR from DOH to JNB then DOH to JFK and it was nice enough, no emirates or etihad!
