There is not an efficient route on Star Alliance from ZNZ to CPT. The easiest way is to fly through Dar es Salaam. The cheapest way to get to DAR was on Precision Air, called Indecision Air by those that know it for its unreliable schedule.
The prop plane did not crack the TPOL’s Worst Flight Experiences and was better than my Ethiopian Airlines Business flight. The plane took off on time and I’m still alive. The bigger problem was having nothing to do when I arrived in DAR at 9:40PM, and my flight to JNB was at 6AM. I was not allowed in the airport until 4AM and had an interesting experience sitting outside waiting.
Besides the inconvenient schedule, I made the right decision to fly Precision.
