Qantas Club Sydney Lounge Review is part of the TPOL Down Under Trip Report.
I thought the zoo was in Melbourne. I was wrong. It’s in Sydney and it’s at the Qantas Club. This is not a lounge that is worth arriving early for. The food was standard, and if you thought NY state law for consuming alcohol was bad (see AA Flagship Lounge JFK: Fine Dining at Its Finest), this is worse. No alcohol is served before 12 noon! That’s uncivilized.
The barista bar was the highlight of the lounge. The line is always long but it’s worth the wait for a piping hot mocha that doesn’t come out of the automated machine. But for baristas, I would skip this lounge altogether.
