Approved! Alaska Airlines Card, But Was It Signature?

I cancelled my last Alaska Airlines Card because I only received a 5k sign-Up bonus. Unknown to me, that card was not the Visa Signature which is the one that provides the 30k bonus. This time, I will make sure that it is the right one before activating it. I called recon and, wouldn’t you know it, I was approved. I will receive 30k Alaska miles and a $100 statement credit after spending $1000 in 3 months. This is still the best deal in town and I’m still getting approved. If I had to guess why, it is because I racked up real spend on my Virgin Atlantic card which has yielded enough points to fly ANA Suites.

Hooray churn!
