Bidvest Lounge Cape Town: 2 Floors of Hors

Over a month ago, I began my trip hungover at the United Club LAX. Many countries, but no Great Whites later, it was time to head home.

Westin Cape Town: Home Away from Home

Before heading to Franschhoek, I stayed at the Protea Waterfront and the Protea Seapoint. Both were better than the DoubleTree, where I stayed last time I visited Cape Town, but neither were better than the Radisson Blu Waterfront. How would the Westin stack up?

Protea Franschhoek: Beautiful Place to Stumble Upon

Stumbling back to the Protea Franschhoek after a day of perhaps too much wine and too much dine, I reflected on how great life was.

Protea Seapoint: That’s An Ocean View?

I checked into the Protea Sea Point which is located in the affluent Sea Point neighborhood minutes away from the Protea Waterfront, aka Prison/Business School. The hotel costs 5,000 more points, but the rooms are nicer and the location gives travelers an opportunity to experience more than the Waterfront.

JFK AirTrain: Why Mess with Uber to Manhattan?

All these years, I've been taking Uber to and from JFK. Either Pool was very cheap or I had a half off ride promo that made it worthwhile for me to avoid public transport.

SAA A330 (JNB-CPT): The Most Comfortable Business Class Flight?

The South African Airways Domestic Lounge Review Johannesburg is part of the South America & Africa Points Heist Trip Report. Recall how angry so many readers were when I called my Ethiopian Airlines flight from JNB...

SAA Domestic Lounge Johannesburg: Feels International

The flight from DAR to JNB was nothing too exciting. The seats were not lie flat but that did not stop me from sleeping the whole time.

SAA DAR-JNB: I Don’t Remember It

The South African Airways DAR-JNB "Flight Review" is part of the South America & Africa Points Heist Trip Report. I vividly recall the park bench at DAR and the Priority Pass Lounge. What I do not...

Priority Pass Dar es Salaam: Better Than A Park Bench

After sitting on a park bench at Dar airport all night, I was allowed to go inside the airport. That didn't mean I could get a ticket. The counter took another hour to open. When it finally did, I checked in, passed through security, and made my way to the lounge.
