You can't beat the Hyatt Place when it's a cash and points deal. $55 + 4k points is one of the best values in the points world.
It's a Hyatt Place. I've stayed at enough of them at this point to know what I'm getting myself into. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, but the soaps, cleverly named 1-2-3, are nothing special.
I'm from Michigan so I know that Auburn Hills is not near Detroit. Downtown Detroit is forty-five minutes away. The closest affiliation Auburn Hills has with Detroit is my beloved Pistons who, incidentally, are leaving Auburn Hills for Detroit next year.
I'll keep this hotel review short and sweet. On the way to see Michigan beat the Buckeyes by stopping them short of the line to gain, I had Thanksgiving in Cleveland. This review is out of order because it's yet another Hyatt Place review in my quest to requalify for Diamond.
I'm happy to say that the Hyatt Place Scottsdale Review is the last review of a boring property in this otherwise eventful Diamond Challenge...
