The Four Points Times Square Hotel Review is another in the series of TPOL in NYC.
Getting There: Four Points Times Square is located at 326 W 40th St, New York, NY 10018. I took NJT from EWR to Grand Central then walked to the Four Points Times Square. It’s probably easier to cab it from Grand Central but a twenty minute walk never hurt anyone.
The days of St. Regis New York luxury are over. Now, when I need a hotel in New York, I look for the cheapest option at the best location. The Four Points brand by SPG is usually an affordable option. I’ve stayed at the Four Points in Four Points SoHo and pop into any Four Points hotel throughout the City when I need to use a computer.
The Four Points Times Square is not right in the heart of Times Square which is a good thing if you’re there for business and not so good if you’re a tourist looking to get exploited by taking a photo with bootleg Cookie Monster. I was only there for one night before heading to the next SPG with a lower rate.
Beyond location, the hotel was just what it needed to be: comfortable bed, hot shower, and a coffee pot for the rough day ahead. There’s also a tiny bar in the lobby, if you need some liquid courage before hitting the street.
