Jaffa, Tel Aviv is part of the #NoCollusion, No Albania for TPOL where I break my 100 country count mark. See the World Map for where I’ve been.
There is more to do in Tel Aviv than party. Or so I’ve heard. One thing I did do was go to the fabled town of Jaffa, the port city from which Jonah departed before being swallowed by a giant mammal. The flea market is a major attraction as are the beach and small cafes.
Another reason to visit Jaffa is for the Arabic food. There are many shawarma places and many falafel stands. I was told to go to Abu Hassan, but unfortunately it was closed when I arrived.
After a light lunch, I passed the Jaffa Clock Tower onto another attraction of Jaffa – the beach.
As I made my way along the coast, I came across a small bar and a place to sit and watch the sunset.
The day was capped off by a delicious feast at the famous restaurant, Old Man And The Sea. Kebab anyone?
Overall
I won’t judge you if you party all night but save some energy to visit Jaffa.
Coffee and beer, eh? Well, better than Jager with a milk chaser, I suppose.
Basically my breakfast lunch dinner the last three weeks
Hopefully next time you’ll save some energy for the day, Tel Aviv has tons to offer!
