My philosophy has changed. There is no need for you to visit Nicaragua unless you have specific interests in the country or culture. Going to a country to check a box of “I’ve been to every country in ….” is not a good philosophy.
How does Belize and Guatemala compare with Honduras and El Salvador? Belize and Guatemala have embassies in Taipei, Republic of China (Taiwan) while Honduras and El Salvador choose Beijing, People’s Republic of China.
I have never gone anywhere to check boxes. I don’t think anyone would disagree with your assessment that “I’ve been to every country in ….” is a good philosophy. Maybe I’m sensitive but I can’t help but wonder if you’re accusing me of that.
There are great reasons to go to Nicaragua but I could not go this time.
