Unlike my Grand Cayman Travel Guide, the Cartagena Travel Guide is more difficult to write for two reasons: 1) There is so much to do in Cartagena 2) Both times I went to Colombia, Aguardiente played a pivotal role in derailing my plans.
Arepas Pues: The Best Arepas in Cartagena
Arepas were invented in Venezuela and some argue that they were perfected in Colombia. I'm not going to make that assertion until I visit Margarita Island to find out for myself. I can say that the arepas in Miami whether they be Venezuelan or Colombian restaurants pale in comparison to those in Colombia.

This was my second time going to Cartagena and like the first time, I found myself asking why I did not stay longer. Two nights is not enough to experience all that the city and its surroundings has to offer.

This review has nothing to do with the flying machine I took to Cartagena and more to do with taking advantage of flash sales and getting over the stigma of flying coach.
