Flying Iberia business is a solid option. Flying it from Madrid to Chicago for 25.5k Avios is the best option.

  1. I flew MAD-ORD J class last October. Loved it! New A350 was spacious and quiet – J cabin was about 1/3rd filled! Lounge in Madrid excellent. Cabin service very good. Loved the seat and meals. Now with COVID how has the meals and other amenities on Iberia changed? Sad. Looking for an end to this nightmare virus! Thanks for awakening the memories of a great flight.

  2. Flew NYC to Florence connecting through Madrid three times in the past two years in Iberia business class. Round trip New York City to Madrid was 50 or 60 thousand Avios each time, i self booked connecting Madrid to Florence. It was a frequent flyer mile bargain.

However, now, with a mandatory 14 day self quarantine in Spain? Not so much a bargain, who has that kind of time?
