Priority Pass Kathmandu: Best Food in the PP Network

Priority Pass Kathmandu Lounge Review is part of the ANA, Take Me ‘Round the World Trip Report.

I have been to many Priority Pass Lounges. Some are good (see Oman Air Lounge Bangkok: Hummus & Hennessy), some are cool (see Fore! The PGA MSP Airport, Simply Awesome), some are overrated (Priority Pass Lounge of the Year? Guadalajara, Mexico), and some are disgusting (see Priority Pass Jakarta Lounge Review: Yuck). The Priority Pass Kathmandu is by far the best for food.

If the cuisine in Nepal is anything like the food in the Priority Pass lounge KTM, my health is in trouble. Connecting to Bhutan (see Nepal Visa on Arrival, Needed Even in Transit), I spent an hour in the lounge eating curry mutton, tender beef, and fried chicken. But for being told to go to the gate, it could’ve turned into a Fat Guy at the Lounge experience. Don’t let the outside of the airport fool you, the inside of the lounge is quality.

I need to start smoking.

a room with black leather chairs and a blue wall a room with red and white furniture a tray of food with a lid a tray of food with meat and sauce a plate of food on a table a plate of fried food

a shelf with bottles of alcohol and bottles of water

When I see the quantity of food and the quality of food, I wonder why US lounges are so inferior.

  1. Glad you had a good experience. I was there not too late on a Tuesday evening last November and the limited food selection was inedible. Could neither chew nor cut the beef so spit it out and in the trash it went.

Will admit it looks much more welcoming in daylight.
