I’ve never seen a more antiquated bank than Barclays. I understand the KYC requirements but how do they not know me by now? Each time I apply for a business card, it’s like I am applying for a green card (see Barclays JetBlue App: Please FAX Your Business Lease, Barclays AA Business Aviator App: History Repeats Itself, JetBlue Business Approved! Yes, Alexander Bachuwa Owns Bachuwa Law). I was approved for the business version of the Hawaiian card, but now I have to mail a copy of my driver’s license and social security card (front and back) to Delaware. Why is that necessary? How is that secure? Anything for miles.
I had the same experience, they told me card was approved but need additional information for fraud department. All communication during this process was by USPS mail
Eventually received?
I hit the same thing even though I have a business card I spend 10K+ a month on in legit charges. I had to order my Social Security card copy, sent all the info they asked for, then resent it at their request, then resent it again at their request, then they asked for yet another copy. At that point I was sick of the whole process and had them close my application, the first time I’ve ever done that. As a data point, they kept saying that the documents I sent them over and over looked good, then they said they didn’t look good and needed to be redone.
Good luck.
