The Hyatt Place Cleveland Crocker Park Hotel Review is part of the Trip Report: Buckeyes Wolverines 2016 which covers the following places:
I’ll keep this hotel review short and sweet. On the way to see Michigan beat the Buckeyes by stopping them short of the line to gain, I had Thanksgiving in Cleveland. This review is out of order because it’s yet another Hyatt Place review in my quest to requalify for Diamond.
Hyatt Places Generally
I prefer aloft to Hyatt Place because they are livelier. Many Hyatt Places look like they are converted off brand hotels with a fresh coat of paint. That was not the case with the Hyatt Place Cleveland which is the second nicest Hyatt Place next to the DC Mall one. (no review of that one thanks to a lost phone)
The Hot Chocolate
This Hyatt Place had a hot chocolate bar, a nice touch and welcomed drink after the drive from Michigan.
The Suite Upgrade
Most Hyatt Places do not have suites. This one did and I was impressed by the size of the room.
The Bathroom
The Location
Crocker Park is another strip mall for America. The usual culprits including Bar Louie and Yard House are there to take your money while delivering poor quality. Take away the sun and beautiful people of Scottsdale and you have Crocker Park. It does have a lovely LA Fitness if you are in need of a workout post Thanksgiving.
The Pictures
I’m assuming most readers won’t be going to Cleveland let alone Crocker Park in the near future so I’ll take the lazy way out by posting more photos to compliment my review. The pictures of the artwork are my favorite.
Overall
For 2500 points and $55, this was a good place to stay for a mattress run.
